VMware vSphere 6.7 takes the vSphere 6.5 product line even further with new enhancements and features with this release both in operations and security. The vSphere 6.7 product is very storage centric in its nature, in that many of the enhancements center around the storage layer.

Known Issues The following information outlines the issues and their solutions: Issue 1. Issue Description Citrix Machine Creation Service (MCS) fails to create MCS Catalog on vSphere 6.7 with error “There are no master images associated with machine Catalog” when EFI is configured as Firmware option for master image template. PMCS-2019 Problem Cause The issue is caused by new changes in vSphere 6.7. This issue is seen only with XenApp/XenDesktop versions up to 7.17. Solution This issue is fixed in XenApp/XenDesktop 7.18 and 7.15 LTSR CU3. This fix will not be ported to 7.6 LTSR.

VSphere client The big news here is that the client is now HTML5 based, This was available with 6.5 but it is now much more robust and almost on parity with the web client. The big items like vSAN and vROPS integration, vSphere Update Manager are all now here. The UI design teams have worked hard to make sure that the workflows require fewer clicks to accomplish tasks.

The flex web client is still around, but the HTML5 client will be the platform of choice and all new features will be added to the HTML5 client only going forward.
